😂 We Need Laughter ðŸ¤£

I love to read, and over the years I have read countless non-fiction, self-help books. They have been immensely helpful on my path to healing.

But something that seems to be missing from quite a few of those books is– laughter.

Laughter truly uplifts the spirit.

Laughter reminds us not to take ourselves too seriously. It reminds us of the absurdity of life.

Some comics speak of issues relevant to us, and that allows us to laugh off some of the tension surrounding the issue. It takes the sting off, if you will.

Laughter gives us a break from life.

Life can be tough, and diving into a funny movie or comedy special can give us a break. Taking a break from life allows us to come back to it with fresh eyes.

When you give your problems a rest, you can re-energize yourself and tackle everything head-on with a renewed spirit.

Laughter brings us closer together.

Even though we may have different comedy tastes, we all love to laugh. We need it! And there’s nothing more joyful than laughing with someone you love.

Heck, you can even make some inside jokes of you own 🤣
