🌀️ Kindness and Calm

β˜• Looking Forward to September 2019 πŸ‚

Hello, sister in Christ! ❀️

It has been a wonderful August for me, and I hope it has been for you too πŸ™‚ 🌼 The weather in Colorado has been hot, but it’s beginning to cool outside. Friends are already posting blogs and pics full of pumpkin spice, and I am so looking forward to September!

Here is a quick DIY pumpkin spice recipe:

  • 3 tablespoons ground cinnamon
  • 2 teaspoons ground ginger
  • 2 teaspoons ground nutmeg
  • 1 Β½ teaspoons ground allspice
  • 1 Β½ teaspoons ground cloves
  • Mix and enjoy! β˜•πŸ°

The above recipe is everywhere online, so I don’t really have a place to credit it to, except maybe BettyCrocker.com. The simpler recipes leave out allspice.

It’s also been a few Sundays since I wrote about the Proverbs 31 woman, but no worries! I will continue to share with you the verses and what I’m learning in September πŸ™‚ Life got a little hectic as I put the finishing touches on my novel, A Firefighter Hero for Her.

If you read the book, I hope you enjoy it! It’s my first adult novel, as I usually write YA novels. It’s a clean Southern romance and cozy mystery, and I had so much fun writing it!

I prayed so much during the writing of this novel, which was also a first for me πŸ₯°

If there’s anything you’d like to see on the blog,
please leave your suggestion in the comments!

I hope you have a wonderful September πŸ‚πŸŒ°πŸ¦Š

Take care and God bless,

Yari πŸ‚
